Penny Powell is a believer of following the heart for the best chance of optimum living. And that's precisely what she tries to do! Her heart for God, parenting, family, friends, community, and all things on this site are what she bottles most.

In addition to being Mommy to her 13-year-old son, Penny loves freelance writing, yoga -- both as a student and teacher, working as editor-in-chief of Pear Magazine Online, exploring raw-vegan food, and being a Mila advocate and distributor. In July 2008, Penny was featured on a "Yoga For Kids" segment of  "The Morning Show" on a Jacksonville, Florida television station where she was thrilled to explain some of the many benefits of yoga.

YOGA CLASS FEEDBACK

~ "Thank you, Penny! (My son) had a great time and had lots of good things to say about what he learned. He was also happy that the other boys took it seriously. We appreciate you sharing your time and talents.......I can't tell you how amazing it is that you got him interested in stretching and thinking more about how his body works. I also forgot to tell you that he did the Child's Pose before he went to sleep. :-)" ~ Mom of a 13 year old

~ "You are such a good influence for yoga, and it has changed my life and point of view." ~ T.W. Read more...
